They’re especially important if the user cannot walk or "heel strike" on their own.
Can the Shower Sidekick be Covered by Medicare or Medicaid?
In most cases, Medicare or Medicaid do not cover Shower Chairs as they are not considered Medical Devices which are deemed Medically Necessary solutions. At Mobile Patient Lift we can provide a copy of an Invoice which you can use to Submit for Reimbursement, but we cannot guarantee this chair will be covered.
Can it be used in walk-in showers?
The Shower Sidekick is ideal for walk-in showers where the shower is either level with the floor or has a very small bump for a door track, etc.
